‘fail’: The actual copies came out very different from what was imagined.

Inspired by Invisible Cities, I decided to introduce concepts like rule-based structures. So that the objects start to change systematically.

SOME THOUGHTS

  1. The process is very slow and requires patience, and making copies over and over again to create a new piece of artwork is much more unpredictable than pre-creating it and letting the machine produce it.
  2. Simple images are structured and iterated through refinement, layering and control, leading to an evolving final product.
